Training
GMLC training opportunities
Training local clinical staff to manage research properly is at the heart of the networks ethos. Strict regulation of the conduct of studies and an increasing focus on research governance in the NHS makes training critical for everyone involved in the management of our studies. This includes the clinical team directly involved with the study and the patients care, but also staff from other departments such as pharmacy, laboratories, radiology and R&D.
We are acutely aware of the time pressures within the NHS and therefore will, where possible, deliver training to people at a time convenient for them. All our training courses come with certificates of attendance and are designed to meet the legal requirements for clinical trials.
