Our Region
Our network covers a large geographical area in the Northwest of England, from Barrow-in-Furness in the north, to Stockport in the south. This region is rich in social, economic and ethnic diversity, but sadly has some of the poorest health in the country.
Much of our research is conducted at the regional paediatric tertiary centre at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, however, we also support clinical teams at other local hospitals and these are shown on the map below.
Many children are also cared for in the community or within Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services, and so we also support research run at all Primary Care and Mental Health Trusts within our boundaries. A list of these organisations can be found here.
